For Exceptional Service rendered from January 1 through December 31, 2011; for his leadership and efforts to support the department through Police Chaplains Program, the development of a Survivors Handbook, support of the Citizen Police Academy program, and the attainment of the Senior Chaplain rating; and, while conductiong himself as a model citizen of Miami Township, Ohio, on March 20, 2012, the Miami Township Police Department presented to Assemblies of God chaplain, Les Sanders, the 2011 Law Enforcement Civilian Service Award.
