Evangel University Sets All-Time Enrollment Record
The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) at Evangel University, recognized a 23% increase year over year — from 335 to 414 — the largest single-year gain in its 52-year history.
“This kind of unprecedented growth is only possible through God’s favor and the hard work of so many people — our faculty, staff, alumni, and church partners,” said Wade Mumm, vice president of AGTS.
Additional enrollment highlights include an increase of 7% year over year of new on-campus undergraduates, a 22.7% increase in the College of Online Learning, and a strong undergraduate retention of 82.7% (national average is 69.5%).
Currently, on-campus residence hall occupancy at Evangel stands at 95%.
Construction is underway on Daryl & Lois Flood Hall, a new residence hall slated to open next fall.
“This fall’s continued record-breaking growth reminds us that Evangel’s mission is resonating like never before,” said Mike Rakes, president of Evangel University. “Students are choosing to join us not only for our robust degree programs but because they are serious about spiritual development, authentic community, and confirming their calling. Enrollment is up, but what excites me most is the future impact of these students.”
